Least looking forward to: I am taking a heavy load so I am just hoping I don't get overwhelmed. But I am sure I can handle it. (: I'm really excited all around other than that.

Least looking forward to: sometimes letting my procrastination kick in and putting off some of the reading...I'm sure that won't happen often though. :)
Goals for the class: to soak up as much as I can, from reading, authors, my fellow classmates and such.

Least looking forward to: Poetry. I do not like poetry, so I'm glad we are doing that first so I don't have to dread it all semester.
Goals for the class: To gain a greater appreciation for the art of writing that was created in this time period.
Goals for 2013: To take one day at a time and let tomorrow take care of itself.
One surprising thing about me: I took up playing the flute a couple of years ago after not playing for 30 years. I may not play well, but I do play well enough to soothe my soul when it is troubled. :-)

Aspect of class I'm most looking forward to: I have always had an addiction to reading and, of course, my favorite genre to add to in my library is the classic section. This course hits right on the mark.
Least looking forward to: Since reading is my hobby, I have a hard time doing it for homework; that is always a challenge for me.
Goals for the class: I mainly want to expand my knowledge of this period of writing and gain new favorites for my collection.
Goals for 2013: I am putting aside worries of the insignificant things and devoting more of my time to the important things.
One surprising thing about me: I love to sing, whether it is the school, my church, or anywhere else. I am a Musical Theatre major. Yet, I have major issues with stage fright; I prefer to sing to empty chairs so much more than to people.

Aspect most looking forward to: I enjoy group discussions after having read pieces of texts so that I can further understand what exactly I read, and also get someone else's opinion. So I most look forward to the discussion aspect.
Least looking forward to: I don't like having to sit down and read x amount of pages each night, I am a confessed procrastinator and do not want to get behind!
